§ From the editors · About the platform

This platform isn't built by programmers. It's built by procurement people.

Manifesto

RESTOK.PRO was created by a team that spent 20+ years running materials management for major oil & gas companies — and saw every form of inefficiency from the inside.

We don't “digitize procurement” from the outside. We port into the product the processes we ourselves worked with — inside industrial supply.

Everything we build was born of 20+ years of work in materials management — in roles where the cost of a mistake is measured in days of well downtime and millions of rubles in dead stock.

We didn't come to IT from the IT industry. We came from MRO departments, tender committees and surplus-stock commissions. And we built the tool we always wished we had.

Industry expertise is our core technology. Everything else follows from it.

§01 — Expertise

Why you can trust us

Three facts that set RESTOK.PRO apart from other marketplaces. None of them can be caught up with quickly — this isn't technology, it's the team's biography.

01

We ran MRO from the inside

The founding team are former heads and experts of materials management at major oil & gas companies. We didn't learn the industry's pain points through interviews — we closed them ourselves.

02

Hands-on internal projects

The team's background is internal inventory and supply optimization projects at industrial companies: stock counts, dead-stock committees, warehouse audits. That experience is codified into the platform's processes.

03

A problem recorded at scale

We recorded the dead-stock problem while working with catalogs of tens and hundreds of thousands of SKUs — both inside the company and in the course of warehouse audits. The platform is built for those realities — not for an idealized “B2B experience”.

§ Co-founder & CEO

“We are building the platform we ourselves were missing in procurement all these years.”

Most problems in industrial supply don't need new technology. They need an honest description of the process — and the discipline to see it through.

§ 1.5 — Sovereign AIPerimeter · RussiaIsolated · encrypted · Russian perimeter

Our own AI on par with frontier language models.

At the core is a combination of language models and a corpus of industrial catalogs, standards and normative reference books: AI searches and explains, while analog compatibility is verified by deterministic engineering rules. By default, processing stays within the Russian perimeter; anonymized queries are sent to foreign AI only with the user's explicit consent (disabled by default).

§ How we measure matching quality

We measure GOST/TU analog-matching quality on an internal set of real industrial queries — every analog passes deterministic engineering checks. Accuracy comes from industry labeling — real “item — analog” pairs and encoded substitution rules.

Concrete accuracy metrics are shown individually for the client's task during the pilot — on their nomenclature, not on averaged figures.

Two models in tandem

The senior model works together with the industry corpus of standards and engineering dictionaries. Simple tasks go to the lightweight model — faster and cheaper, with no quality loss.

Senior + light

Priority — the Russian perimeter

By default, inference, vector storage and logs run on servers inside Russia (local models, bge-m3 embeddings). Anonymized queries go to foreign AI providers (GLM, China; Claude, USA) only with the user's explicit consent — off by default. See section 4 of the Privacy Policy.

152-FZ · consent

A closed loop

A client's queries and answers are visible only to their own employees. The model never trains on user data — no cross-training between customers.

Customer isolation

Labeled by experts

Real “item — analog” pairs are labeled, incorrect substitutions are flagged, GOST/TU rules are encoded. This industry labeling is what drives matching accuracy.

§02 — Experience in numbers

Behind us is practice, not a hypothesis

The team's industry background in four dimensions. Deliberately without exaggeration — a real footprint in the industry before the first line of code.

§03 — Our journey

From case work — to a platform

RESTOK.PRO is the outcome of a decade and a half in supply — not a three-year-old venture idea.

2014

Immersion in supply from the inside

Hands-on work in the supply departments of major industrial assets: materials catalogs, tenders, warehouse stock.

Context
2019

Dead stock as a systemic loss line

End-to-end MRO in subsidiaries of major enterprises: planning, rationing, purchasing, warehouse logistics — and surplus stock across an entire asset.

Experience
2023

The problem is recognized as systemic

Point fixes don't work. After a series of internal surplus-stock projects, the concept of an industry platform with AI analog matching was formulated.

Idea
2024

Experience shaped into requirements

Procurement-vertical practice turns into product requirements: what the platform must do for supply professionals to trust it.

Project
2025

KorpService Consulting LLC is founded, the build begins

The operating company was created, the team assembled, and engineering started: the catalog core, AI matching, the escrow deal module, the corporate perimeter.

Start
2026

Pilot rollout and first counterparties

The platform enters pilots with subsidiary groups of major holdings: inter-company materials exchange, escrow deals, a corporate surplus showcase.

§04 — Product philosophy

Three principles, non-negotiable

Every decision rests on these — from form copy to the escrow procedure. If something contradicts them, we don't do it.

I.

The platform must understand the industry

We are not building a “universal B2B marketplace”. Every dictionary, category and deal procedure is written for industrial supply — with GOST, TU and acceptance specifics in mind.

Against universalism
II.

The commission pays for protection, not traffic

We don't charge for “listings” or “promotion”. The commission is 8% of the deal amount, paid by the buyer on top; the seller receives 100% of the goods' value. Intra-holding transfers — 0%. Escrow, insurance and factoring are separate costs paid directly to banks and insurers.

Against rent-seeking
III.

AI is the expert's tool

Automatic matching without a human is a facility-shutdown risk. Our AI proposes options with justification and always leaves the decision to the procurement specialist. No black boxes.

Against blind automation

§07 — Join the team

We need industry people, not just engineers.

We look for people who understand MRO deeply enough to argue with us about how warehouse operations should be described. If that sounds like you — write to us.
