Payments
How escrow works
Two-stage payment via the partner bank: money protected until acceptance.
Settlements go through the partner bank's two-stage payment. On payment, funds are held (stage 1) but not transferred to the seller. Capture (stage 2) happens only after the buyer confirms acceptance.
- Payment → hold: money is frozen on your side.
- Shipping and receipt: the seller ships, you receive.
- Acceptance → capture: only now does money reach the seller.
- Dispute → freeze: with an open dispute funds stay in escrow.
The seller receives 100% of their listed price; the 8% platform commission is paid by the buyer on top. Maximum hold is 30 calendar days.
Refunds
On cancellation before shipping or a dispute resolved in your favor, the hold is released — money returns the same way, usually within a few banking days.
